At American Trailer Rental Group (ATRG), we are fortunate that we can involve ourselves in the community as much as possible. The school bells are ringing again, and as parents, teachers, and students make their return to school, they will be gathering school supplies to fulfill all the necessary items on their list. As school supply lists seem to grow each year, we wanted to find a way to help ease the stress a bit.
To help make going back to school easier, our Fort Mitchell office put together supplies to donate to teachers and students at St. Augustine School in Covington, Kentucky. School supplies are not always easy to come by for everyone and we wanted to help ease that stress a bit. We began by sending out a flyer to our team members providing details of what is needed, what kind of supplies, a deadline, and where it was going. Within a few weeks, we were able to fill bins with school supplies just in time to be delivered to St. Augustine.
As we began to accumulate school supplies, our Chief Executive Officer, John Brooks, immediately realized that we wanted to do more. He wanted to allow the teachers to have the opportunity to spend money on things they need for their classroom and day-to-day teaching. When we dropped off the bins of supplies to St. Augustine, we also presented them with a check that teachers can use to complete their classrooms. The donation provided will allow the teachers to reduce the amount of their personal funds used. It was amazing to see the teachers and students so excited! We are eager to see St. Augustine flourish this school year!
